National energy finance expert Paul Bony is the featured speaker at the Energy Efficiency Business Coalition (EEBC) of Nevada’s Thursday, June 29, 2017, meeting at the UNR Innevation Center, 450 Sinclair St., Reno. The EEBC meeting runs 3:30-5 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

“Commercial building owners and operators, contractors looking for financing for their clients, clean energy equipment vendors, and others can unlock significant energy bill savings by taking advantage of project financing with excellent terms,” noted Bony, who worked with the Electric & Gas Industries Association (EGIA) and the Delta-Montrose Electric Association, a nationally acclaimed electric cooperative known for innovative utility energy efficiency financing programs.

Bony will also explain possible opportunities available to local governments and the commercial buildings in their jurisdictions through Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing, facilitated by legislation recently signed into Nevada law.

In addition to Bony’s presentation, the EEBC meeting will review other energy bills that were signed into law, including solar roof tops and net metering, financing for electric vehicle charging stations, utility resource planning enhancements, and bills designed to expand utility energy efficiency programs, particularly for lower-income consumers.

The EEBC meeting at the UNR Innevation Center is free, but an RSVP is appreciated. For more information or to RSVP, please call Tom Polikalas at (775) 386-7411.
