CASA Volunteer Information Hour / Training Public · Hosted by CASA of Carson City

  • 1539 East 5th Street Carson City, NV, 89701 United States (map)

"More than 700,000 children experience abuse or neglect each year. Instead of playing with neighbors and making happy family memories, they’re attending court hearings, adjusting to new foster homes and transitioning to new schools. That’s a heavy burden for a child to carry. With a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) or guardian ad litem (GAL) volunteer dedicated to their case, America’s most vulnerable children will have someone speaking up for their best interests. With your support, more children will have the opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving home."
~ National CASA Association

Please join us for a casual information session to learn more about becoming a CASA Volunteer and how YOU can help our local foster children. Be that voice that these children desperately need as they navigate the world of foster care and court proceedings.

There is no obligation to join, but feel free to ask questions about children that are in your Community. Learn how you can help provide a shoulder to lean on and be a voice for children who have been silenced. There are many ways to help your local CASA of Carson City Organization. Come on down and find out how!
