NiCE 2nd Annual Unity Service to Remember Pulse Orlando Massacre Public · Hosted by NiCE: Nevada Interfaith Coalition for Equality & Inclusion and Sean Savoy

NiCE: Nevada Interfaith Coalition for Equality & Inclusion will host the 2nd Annual Interfaith Unity Prayer to Remember the Pulse Orlando Nightclub Massacre, which took place on June 12, 2016 in Orlando, Florida.

The multi-faith service will include prayers from members of Nevada's welcoming and affirming religious and spiritual congregations in remembrance of the largest mass shooting in US history. The massacre took place at the Pulse Orlando gay bar and nightclub where 49 people were shot to death.

Interfaith and other community leaders will gather to pay tribute to the victims and their families. The service will end with a reading of the names of each victim as a bell tolls in their memory.

The interfaith Unity Service will be the capstone to Compassionate Connections Matter's (CCM) annual Hug'N'Love 2017 event on National Hug Day, which began nationally in Reno, Nevada, as a positively motivated response to the Pulse Orlando massacre. CCM is hosting the Hug'N'Love holiday all day at West Street Plaza in downtown Reno, with NiCe's Unity Service concluding the call for kindness and compassion nationwide.
