Come join us for international cuisines and performances. Open up your minds and listen to our speakers addressing negative stereotypes. We will enter that door leaving behind our nationality, our blind perceptions and our pride. We will enter that door as citizens of this planet earth, as one kind, as nothing but human beings We shall open our ears and minds to those speakers who will address the cultural stereotypes. Let's listen, understand, and break down the narrow domestic walls we have built in our minds. We are powerful beyond the measures when we stand United and diversified. Ladies and Gentlemen, we look forward to have you all on this day, help one another breakdown stereotypes and make this world a better place to live.

Who are the speakers?
Considering the outcome from UID 2016 and its 400 person audience, the UID team would like to take it to next level for 2017 by extending an invitation to student and speakers from other universities across the USA. There are no age or education level restrictions.

Speaker Criteria:
Speeches may be given by an individual or group of people on a panel, with multi-ethnic stereotypes being the main topic. We are also seek to address related diversity and unity issues. We are looking for 3Cs durring the application process: content, confidence and creativity. Accent and fluency in English does not play a role in the selection process, the main goal for this event is to bring awareness in the community and to accept and cherish diversity.

Important dates:
November 15th: Application open for speakers.
January 15th: Final date for application
January 19th: First round speaker screening process
January 26th: Second round Speaker screening process
February 2nd: Final selection of speakers
February 9th: 1st run through practice round
February 16th: 2nd run through practice round
March 17th: 3rd run through practice round
March 27th: Final round of practice
