#ResistTrumpTuesdays: Cacerolazo

  • Bruce R Thompson Federal building 400 South Virginia Street Reno, NV, 89501 United States (map)

et's make some glorious noise and tell Congress what we really think about the Trump administration!

It's been over a month since Trump took office. We have seen blatant attacks on our communtiies, a new administration that has no respect or value for basic human dignities and a President who is so corrupt there have been multiple calls for investigation. From the Muslim ban to ICE Raids and this week with Trump telling schools to ignore the law that protects trans kids in school we say enough is enough!

On Tuesday, President 45 will address a joint session of Congress for the first time. And we say: Don't watch it and join us instead. We invite you to a Cacerolazo (casserole): a form of protest that consists of a group of people making noise by banging pots, pans and utensils that is popular in Latin American countries.

We will gather at the Bruce R. Thompson Federal Building and we invite you to join us bring your pots, pans, utensils, and your family to a protest.

If you are not in Northern Nevada we want you to have a Cacerolazo in your city or town using #ResistTrumpTuesdays #PeoplesAddress. And put it up on our map workingfamilies.org/resistmap
